A money mule is someone who is paid to withdraw money earned by engaging in criminal activity from an ATM or who receives property directly from victims. Such work is not technically demanding but individuals are easy to arrest, making them dispensable to scam gangs.

Where do money mules come from??

Money mules are often foreign workers from the same town or those in urgent need of money. Scam gangs place ads on social media websites offering high paid part-time work to get foreign workers to join them.

How are money mules dealt with by the law??
